Roosevelt Bears (Wyandotte, MI) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Taylor Griffins (Taylor, MI), 9-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, Roosevelt advances its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Edsel Ford (Dearborn, MI) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a Downriver test on Wednesday, September 3. The Thunderbirds come into the test with a record of 4-1.

The Griffins now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they host Anderson for a Macomb Area - Gold outing on Monday, September 8.
