In Thursday's non-league match, the host Blackwell Maroons softball team scored a tight 3-0 win over the Hennessey Eagles.
The Maroons (7-8) will now prepare for their match against Kingfisher (Kingfisher, OK). The Yellowjackets come into the non-league match with a 8-1 record. In their last match, Kingfisher edged Bishop McGuinness (Oklahoma City, OK), 5-2, in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Pioneer-Pleasant Vale (Waukomis, OK). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Pioneer-Pleasant Vale nipped Blackwell (Blackwell, OK), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
