Next, the Wolves clash with the Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA) in a 6A Region 8 test, on Tuesday, September 2. Buford will attempt to advance on its 8-0 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 4-6 record after their 9-1 league loss to Dacula (Dacula, GA).

With the loss, Central Gwinnett moves to 1-9 on the season. The Black knights travel to Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA) to encounter the Hawks in a 6A Region 8 outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Hawks come into the outing with a record of 6-3. Mill Creek won 12-3 in their recent league outing against Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA)
