In Thursday's league test, the Hart County Bulldogs (Hartwell, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA), by a tally of 8-3.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, September 3. Hart County will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record.

The Lions (4-4) will now prepare for their outing against Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA). The Warriors come into the non-league outing with a 1-7 record. In their last outing, Oconee County was routed by Jefferson (Jefferson, GA), 10-0, in a league outing.
