The Milton Eagles (Milton, GA) softball routed the visiting Gainesville Red Elephants (Gainesville, GA), 17-2 in Thursday's league outing.
The Eagles now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Seckinger for a 5A Region 7 outing on Tuesday, September 2. Milton will encounter a Jaguars team coming off a 19-1 league win over Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-4.
With the loss, Gainesville moves to 4-2 on the season. The Red elephants host Lanier (Sugar Hill, GA) to encounter the Longhorns in a 5A Region 7 test on Tuesday, September 2. The Longhorns go into the test with a record of 4-7. Lanier won 3-2 in their recent league test against Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA)
