Nebraska High School Softball - Kearney Catholic bounces Hershey

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Kearney Catholic Stars (Kearney, NE) and the host Hershey Panthers (Hershey, NE), observed Kearney Catholic's softball team notch a victory over Hershey by a tally of 15-0.

The Stars (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Hershey (Hershey, NE). The Panthers go into the C District bout with a 1-4 record. In their last bout, Hershey was routed by Gering (Gering, NE), 13-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Panthers face the Kearney Catholic Stars (Kearney, NE) in a C District contest, on Thursday, August 28. Hershey will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Stars enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 11-8 league win over Centura (Cairo, NE).
