In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Jamestown softball team scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Sturgeon Bulldogs.
With the triumph, Jamestown improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The host Pilot Grove (Pilot Grove, MO) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Monday, September 8. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Brashear (Brashear, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
