The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Jefferson Dragons (Jefferson, GA) and the host Oconee County Warriors (Watkinsville, GA), observed Jefferson's softball team notch a victory over Oconee County by a final score of 10-0.

The Dragons (10-1) will now prepare for their bout against Peachtree Ridge (Suwanee, GA). The Lions enter the non-league game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, Peachtree Ridge was routed by Brookwood (Snellville, GA), 6-0, in a league game.

The Warriors now hold a 1-7 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin County for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 3. Oconee County will battle a Lions team coming off a 8-3 league loss to Hart County (Hartwell, GA). The Lions record now stands at 4-4.
