Georgia High School Softball - Morrow bested by Langston Hughes

The Langston Hughes Panthers triumphed over the visiting Morrow Mustangs softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Panthers play the Lovejoy Wildcats (Lovejoy, GA) in a 5A Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Langston Hughes will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 17-0 league loss to McIntosh (Peachtree City, GA).

With the loss, Morrow moves to 0-6 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Mundy's Mill (Jonesboro, GA) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 1-5. Mundy's Mill lost 22-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, GA)
