Georgia High School Softball - Lovejoy drops to McIntosh

The Lovejoy Wildcats softball squad (Lovejoy, GA), was routed 17-0 in Thursday's league contest with the visiting McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA)

With the triumph, McIntosh improves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Chiefs host Starr's Mill (Fayetteville, GA) to face the Panthers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 2. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 8-5. Starr's Mill lost 18-0 in their recent league contest against Harris County (Hamilton, GA)

The Wildcats now hold a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Langston Hughes for a 5A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, September 2. Lovejoy will face a Panthers squad coming off a 16-0 league win over Morrow (Morrow, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 3-5.
