The Meeker Bulldogs softball team scored 9 runs and held the host Okemah Panthers to 6 in the Bulldogs league win on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chandler for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 28. Meeker will confront a Lions team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Moore (Moore, OK). The Lions record now stands at 9-1.
The Panthers (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Vian (Vian, OK). The Wolverines go into the non-league test with a 6-7 record.
