Next, the Bulldogs meet the Pierce County Bears (Blackshear, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Wheeler County will attempt to upgrade on its 9-3 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 8-0 league loss to Appling County (Baxley, GA).

With the loss, Montgomery County moves to 1-9 on the season. The Eagles host Atkinson County (Pearson, GA) to confront the Rebels in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Rebels come into the battle with a record of 1-7. Atkinson County lost 12-0 in their recent league battle against Lanier County (Lakeland, GA)
