In Thursday's league match, the visiting Parkview Panthers softball team scored a tight 7-3 win over the Norcross Blue Devils.

The Panthers (4-7) will now prepare for their match against Brookwood (Snellville, GA). The Broncos come into the 6A Region 7 match with a 8-3 record. In their last match, Brookwood was routed by Wesleyan (Norcross, GA), 6-1, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Blue Devils confront the Centennial Knights (Roswell, GA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, September 3. Norcross will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Knights enter the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 11-1 league loss to Cambridge (Milton, GA).
