Next, the Greyhounds encounter the Riverwood Raiders (Sandy Springs, GA) in a 5A Region 6 outing, on Tuesday, September 2. Pope will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Raiders come into the outing with a 6-4 record after their 1-0 league win over Woodstock (Woodstock, GA).

With the loss, River Ridge moves to 4-7 on the season. The Knights travel to Creekview (Canton, GA) to meet the Grizzlies in a 5A Region 6 test on Tuesday, September 2. The Grizzlies go into the test with a record of 10-1. Creekview won 16-0 in their recent league test against Sequoyah (Canton, GA)
