In Thursday's league challenge, the host Abbeville Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Whitmire Wolverines.
The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Ware Shoals (Ware Shoals, SC). The Hornets come into the A Region 2 challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Ware Shoals beat South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind (Spartanburg, SC), 3-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines meet the GREEN Upstate Owls (Simpsonville, SC) in a A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Whitmire will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 3-0 league win over McCormick (McCormick, SC).
