The Devine Warhorses / Arabians volleyball squad (Devine, TX), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Bastrop Bears (Bastrop, TX)

With the victory, Bastrop moves its record to 14-6 on the year. The Bears travel to Seguin (Seguin, TX) to battle the Matadors in a non-league contest on Thursday, August 28. The Matadors enter the contest with a record of 11-10. Seguin won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Fox Tech (San Antonio, TX)
