Florida High School Volleyball - Beaches Chapel over Old Plank Christian Academy

The Beaches Chapel Lions volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Old Plank Christian Academy Defenders to 0 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now possess a 3-3 record. They play next when they travel to Covenant School of Jacksonville for a 1A District 2 outing on Tuesday, September 2. Beaches Chapel will play a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Warner Christian Academy (South Daytona, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Old Plank Christian Academy drops to 2-6 on the campaign. The Defenders travel to St. Johns Country Day (Orange Park, FL) to play the Spartans in a non-league outing on Friday, August 29. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 1-1. St. Johns Country Day lost 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Trinity Christian Academy (Jacksonville, FL)
