Ohio High School Volleyball - Bellaire overwhelmed by Martins Ferry

Martins Ferry Purple Riders (Martins Ferry, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball team overcome the visiting Bellaire Big Reds (Bellaire, OH), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Purple Riders (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Buckeye Local went down by East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Big Reds now sport a 0-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Catholic Central for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Bellaire will face a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Edison (Richmond, OH). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-6.
