Ohio High School Volleyball - Westerville South crushed by Big Walnut

August 28, 2025: Sunbury, OH 43074

In Thursday's league battle, the Big Walnut Golden Eagles (Sunbury, OH) volleyball squad toppled the visiting Westerville South Wildcats (Westerville, OH), by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Big Walnut improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Golden Eagles travel to Worthington Kilbourne (Columbus, OH) to encounter the Wolves in a Ohio Capital - Capital battle on Thursday, September 4. The Wolves go into the battle with a record of 4-1.

The Wildcats now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westerville North for a Ohio Capital - Capital battle on Tuesday, September 2. Westerville South will battle a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league win over Hayes (Delaware, OH). The Warriors record now stands at 1-6.
