Indiana High School Volleyball - Blackford over Marion

August 28, 2025: Hartford City, IN 47348

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN) and the visiting Marion Giants (Marion, IN), saw Blackford's volleyball squad notch a victory over Marion by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Blackford improves its record to 2-6 on the season. The Bruins travel to Alexandria-Monroe (Alexandria, IN) to encounter the Tigers in a Central Indiana battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Tigers go into the contest with a record of 3-3. Alexandria-Monroe lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Winchester Community (Winchester, IN)

Next, the Giants battle the Heritage Patriots (Monroeville, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 30. Marion will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Patriots enter the contest with a 5-2 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran (Fort Wayne, IN).
