With the win, Canterbury upgrades its record to 1-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Marco Island Academy (Marco Island, FL) to meet the Rays in a 2A District 9 challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Rays enter the challenge with a record of 3-0.

Next, the Bullsharks meet the Bishop McLaughlin Catholic Hurricanes (Spring Hill, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, August 30. Bonita Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Hurricanes enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Bell Creek Academy (Riverview, FL).
