Thornwell Saints (Clinton, SC) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Calhoun Falls Charter Blue Flashes (Calhoun Falls, SC), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Thornwell improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Saints travel to Dixie (Due West, SC) to face the Hornets in a A Region 2 test on Tuesday, September 2. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 0-1. Dixie lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Greenwood Christian (Greenwood, SC)

Next, the Blue Flashes meet the McCormick Chiefs (McCormick, SC) in a A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Calhoun Falls Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to GREEN Upstate (Simpsonville, SC).
