In Thursday's non-league match, the Gibbs Eagles (Corryton, TN) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting Campbell County Cougars (Jacksboro, TN), by a final score of 3-1.

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Clinton Dragons (Clinton, TN) in a AAA District 3 bout, on Tuesday, September 2. Gibbs will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Dragons come into the bout with a 11-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Knoxville Trailblazers (Knoxville, TN).
