North Carolina High School Volleyball - Cannon Charlotte Christian

In Thursday's league match, the Charlotte Christian Knights (Charlotte, NC) volleyball squad overcame the visiting Cannon Cougars (Concord, NC), by a count of 3-1.

The Knights now possess a 7-3 record. They play next when they host Davidson Day for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. Charlotte Christian will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Charlotte Country Day School (Charlotte, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 9-4.

Next, the Cougars battle the Covenant Day Lions (Matthews, NC) in a NCISAA Charlotte Independent Schools Athletic contest, on Friday, August 29. Cannon will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Lions enter the contest with a 3-1 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Metrolina Christian Academy (Indian Trail, NC).
