North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Rowan overwhelmed by Carson

August 28, 2025: China Grove, NC 28023

Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), 3-0 in a league challenge.

The Cougars (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Trojans come into the South Piedmont 4A/5A challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Northwest Cabarrus lost by Concord (Concord, NC), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs play the Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) in a South Piedmont 4A/5A challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. East Rowan will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 3-0 league loss to South Rowan (China Grove, NC).
