In Thursday's non-league match, the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) volleyball squad prevailed the visiting T.C. Roberson Rams (Asheville, NC), by a margin of 3-1.

The Chargers now possess a 3-7 record. They play next when they host Forestview for a Big South 5A/6A bout on Tuesday, September 2. Crest will clash with a Jaguars team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, T.C. Roberson drops to 6-6 on the campaign. The Rams host Erwin (Asheville, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a Mountain 5A/6A bout on Wednesday, September 3. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 6-0.
