The Crystal River Pirates volleyball squad (Crystal River, FL), was edged 3-2 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Lecanto Panthers (Lecanto, FL)

With the win, Lecanto improves its record to 4-0 on the season. The Panthers host Hernando (Brooksville, FL) to encounter the Leopards in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Leopards go into the battle with a record of 2-1.

The Pirates now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springstead for a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. Crystal River will meet a Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Brook Hill (Bullard, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-4.
