Iowa High School Volleyball - Ottumwa can't get by Davis County

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Davis County Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Ottumwa Bulldogs.
The Mustangs (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Knoxville (Knoxville, IA). The Panthers come into the South Central challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Knoxville was nudged by Gilbert (Gilbert, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next up, the Bulldogs face the Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 4. Ottumwa will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record.
