North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Burke over Hibriten

August 28, 2025: Connelly Springs, NC 28612

The East Burke Cavaliers (Connelly Springs, NC) volleyball knocked off the visiting Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.

The Cavaliers now possess a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Caldwell for a Western Piedmont 3A/4A match on Tuesday, September 2. East Burke will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to East Rutherford (Bostic, NC). The Warriors record now stands at 2-6.

The Panthers (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans enter the Western Piedmont 3A/4A match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Chase was outscored by R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC), 3-1, in a league match.
