Missouri High School Volleyball - New Heights Christian Academy bounced by East Newton

The New Heights Christian Academy Cougars volleyball squad (Joplin, MO), dropped 3-0 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host East Newton Patriots (Granby, MO)

With the win, East Newton improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Patriots travel to Sarcoxie (Sarcoxie, MO) to encounter the Bears in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Bears go into the battle with a record of 0-1. Sarcoxie lost 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Winona (Winona, MO)

Next, the Cougars meet the Marionville Comets (Marionville, MO) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 30. New Heights Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
