The Guthrie Bluejays (Guthrie, OK) volleyball held off the host Eisenhower Eagles (Lawton, OK), 2-1 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Bluejays now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Snyder for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 28. Guthrie will clash with a Cyclones team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Minco (Minco, OK). The Cyclones record now stands at 4-4.
The Eagles (6-5) will now prepare for their match against MacArthur (Lawton, OK). The Highlanders enter the non-league match with a 3-5 record. In their last match, MacArthur held off Tecumseh (Tecumseh, OK), 3-2, in a non-league match.
