Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Elcho tips Marion

Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Elcho Hornets (Elcho, WI) and the host Marion Mustangs (Marion, WI), observed Elcho's volleyball team hold off Marion by a count of 2-1.

The Hornets (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Wabeno/Laona (Wabeno, WI). The Rebels enter the Northern Lakes contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Wabeno/Laona was tipped by Onalaska (Onalaska, WI), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Mustangs battle the Tigerton Tigers (Tigerton, WI) in a Central Wisconsin North contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Marion will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Marion (Marion, WI).
