With the win, Erie improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Royals host McDowell (Erie, PA) to face the Trojans in a District 10 Region 5 challenge on Tuesday, September 2. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. McDowell lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Warren (Warren, PA)

Next, the Lancers meet the Central Tech Falcons (Erie, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 28. General McLane will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
