In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Fairfield Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the WACO Warriors.
The Trojans (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Grinnell (Grinnell, IA). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
The Warriors now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cardinal for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. WACO will face a Comets squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Sigourney (Sigourney, IA). The Comets record now stands at 0-1.
