Georgia High School Volleyball - Fannin County tips Gilmer

August 28, 2025: Blue Ridge, GA 30513

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Fannin County Rebels volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Gilmer Bobcats.

The Rebels (11-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Union County (Blairsville, GA). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Union County edged Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats play the Heritage Generals (Ringgold, GA) in a 3A Area 7 challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Gilmer will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Generals come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 2-0 league win over Northwest Whitfield (Tunnel Hill, GA).
