Ohio High School Volleyball - Field overwhelmed by Springfield

August 28, 2025: Mogadore, OH 44260

Springfield Spartans (Akron, OH) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Field Falcons (Mogadore, OH), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Springfield advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Spartans host Barberton (Barberton, OH) to face the Magics in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Magics go into the test with a record of 2-2. Barberton lost 3-0 in their recent league test against Tallmadge (Tallmadge, OH)

The Falcons now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Vincent-St. Mary for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2. Field will face a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Northwest (Canal Fulton, OH). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 2-3.
