The Patrick Henry Patriots tipped the host Franklin County Eagles volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA) in a River Ridge game, on Tuesday, September 9. Patrick Henry will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record.

The Eagles (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees come into the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Brookville was nudged by Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
