Harvester Christian Academy Hawks (Douglasville, GA) followers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Holy Ground Baptist Academy Stallions (Roopville, GA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Hawks (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Central Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Crusaders come into the GAPPS DI-AA Region 2 challenge with a 3-2 record.
Next, the Stallions play the CrossPointe Christian Academy Cavaliers (Williamson, GA) in a GAPPS DI-A Region 2 game, on Tuesday, September 2. Holy Ground Baptist Academy will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Cavaliers go into the game with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Harp's Crossing Christian (Fayetteville, GA).
