In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Hulbert Riders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sperry Pirates.
The Riders (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Classen SAS (Oklahoma City, OK). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last test, Classen SAS gained a win over Braggs (Braggs, OK), 2-0, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salina for a non-league test on Thursday, August 28. Sperry will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Locust Grove (Locust Grove, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-4.
