Texas High School Volleyball - Lake Creek Prestonwood Christian

Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Lake Creek Lions (Montgomery, TX), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Lions (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Glenn (Leander, TX). The Grizzlies come into the non-league challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Glenn was beaten by Lake Belton (Temple, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions face the Westlake Chaparrals (Austin, TX) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 28. Lake Creek will attempt to advance on its 8-10 season record. The Chaparrals go into the test with a 15-6 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX).
