Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA) and the host Le Mars Bulldogs (Le Mars, IA), observed Sheldon's volleyball team top Le Mars by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Sheldon improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Orabs travel to Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA) to face the Warriors in a non-league test on Saturday, August 30. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 0-2. Alta-Aurelia lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Southeast Valley (Gowrie, IA)

The Bulldogs now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to MOC-Floyd Valley for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2.
