The Melbourne Bearkatz tipped the visiting Valley Springs Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Bearkatz confront the Flippin Bobcats (Flippin, AR) in a 3A 2 game, on Tuesday, September 2. Melbourne will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record.
The Tigers (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Yellville-Summit (Yellville, AR). The Panthers enter the 3A 2 game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Yellville-Summit was tipped by Cave City (Cave City, AR), 3-1, in a league outing.
