North Carolina High School Volleyball - Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Mountain Island Charter

In Thursday's league match, the Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC) volleyball team knocked off the host Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC), by a margin of 3-1.

The Raptors now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to NCSSM: Morganton for a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A bout on Tuesday, September 2. Mountain Island Charter will clash with a Dragons team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC). The Dragons record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy drops to 5-3 on the campaign. The Gryphons host Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC) to battle the Stallions in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A match on Tuesday, September 2. The Stallions enter the match with a record of 3-4. Queen's Grant won 3-0 in their recent league match against Carolina International (Concord, NC)
