The Western Branch Bruins volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Nansemond River Warriors to 1 in the Bruins league triumph on Thursday.

The Bruins now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Deep Creek for a Southeastern outing on Thursday, September 4.
