North Carolina High School Volleyball - NCSSM: Morganton crushed by Piedmont Community Charter

The Piedmont Community Charter Patriots prevailed the visiting NCSSM: Morganton Dragons volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Patriots confront the Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats (Charlotte, NC) in a Catawba River 1A/2A/3A game, on Tuesday, September 2. Piedmont Community Charter will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 1-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy (Huntersville, NC).

The Dragons (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Raptors enter the Catawba River 1A/2A/3A game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Mountain Island Charter gained a win over Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy (Mooresboro, NC), 3-1, in a league outing.
