Mississippi High School Volleyball - St. Andrew's Episcopal Newton County

The Newton County Cougars topped the visiting St. Andrew's Episcopal Saints volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Cougars face the Enterprise Bulldogs (Enterprise, MS) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, August 28. Newton County will attempt to upgrade on its 15-2 season record. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a 6-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Stringer (Stringer, MS).

With the loss, St. Andrew's Episcopal drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Saints host Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS) to play the Tigers in a Class 3A Region 5 outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 1-7. Southeast Lauderdale lost 3-2 in their recent non-league outing against Choctaw County (Butler, AL)
