In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting Sacred Heart Indians volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Palacios Sharks.

The Indians (6-13) will now prepare for their challenge against Weimar (Weimar, TX). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 7-8 record. In their last challenge, Weimar lost by Columbus (Columbus, TX), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Sharks play the Fayetteville Lions (Fayetteville, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 29. Palacios will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to St. Paul (Shiner, TX).
