With the win, St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy advances its record to 5-3 on the season. The Warriors host Ramona Convent (Alhambra, CA) to face the Tigers in a Santa Fe test on Tuesday, September 2. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 1-7. Ramona Convent won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Serra (Gardena, CA)

Next, the Pioneers play the Bassett Olympians (La Puente, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, August 29. San Gabriel Mission will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
