The West Central Area Knights volleyball team (Barrett, MN), was beaten 3-0 in Thursday's league contest with the host Sauk Centre Mainstreeters (Sauk Centre, MN)

The Mainstreeters (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Minnewaska Area (Glenwood, MN). The Lakers enter the West Central contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Minnewaska Area beat Montevideo (Montevideo, MN), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Knights meet the Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers (Morris, MN) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 2. West Central Area will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 2-0 record after their 3-2 non-league win over New London-Spicer (New London, MN).
