North Carolina High School Volleyball - College Prep & Leadership Academy South Davidson

August 28, 2025: Denton, NC 27239

South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) backers were pleased Thursday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals (Jamestown, NC), 3-1 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy (Winston-Salem, NC). The Phoenix come into the Greater Triad 1A/2A challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Winston-Salem Preparatory Academy lost by North Stokes (Danbury, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Royals play the Chatham Central Bears (Bear Creek, NC) in a Greater Triad 1A/2A test, on Tuesday, September 2. College Prep & Leadership Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Bears go into the test with a 2-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Wheatmore (Trinity, NC).
